In this video I discuss some questions that had come up from a previous video that I had made, “How to Pay Off Your Mortgage Early in 5-7 Years! Using an Amortization Schedule!”This video had got many responses some of which saying that you should not pay it off early, which I absolutely disagree with. Many also said you could just take out a Home Equity Line Of Credit or sometimes called HELOC which in my opinion is just borrowing debt on top of debt and can put you in a very bad spot to be in should you experience job loss, lay offs, ect. Hope you enjoy!

  1. If you would like to watch the video, "How to Pay off Your Mortgage Early in 5-7 Years! Using an Amortization Schedule Click Here:

I HIGHLY recommend you watch it to get on the right track to getting you and your family out of debt!

  2. I agree with you we are paying off all our bills and paying off our mortgage early. Hopefully we will be finished in three years. No to home equity loans.
Things do change I unfortunately became ill and an unable to work as an RN anymore. That is why I started couponing it’s something I can plan and work on even when I am stuck in bed. It saves our family so much money.

  3. I totally agree with you…some people like gambling with their future, but I'd rather be safe than sorry ( esp. since I have kids). And yes, thank God, my house is scheduled to be paid off by the end of this year ( which will be 5 1/2 years after I signed that 30 year mortgage loan)😂😂😂

  4. We paid off our mortgage, cc bills & so far are working on paying off our cars. Every time we paid off a bill we took 1/2 of that payment and put it towards our next goal & the other half went into our retirement funds.

  5. Absolutely payoff your mortgage as soon as possible. I’m paying all my credit cards and other loans off now. As soon as that’s done my mortgage will be prioritized to be paid off as soon as possible.

  6. I do not own a home. I rent, but if I did had a mortgage I would pay it off because, that would enable me to do other things. Also, I would never have the worries of how I would pay on my home if I got laid off, fired etc. I personally think that it is a great idea. A GF of mine has about 1 more year to go and she is DONE!! PRAISE GOD!!

  7. I took a 5yr loan for the land, and I also took out the 15 yr . mortgage for building it into a place for myself, and 2 boys. I had the luck with weekly payments like you explained. Which took off 1yr , 9 months , saved some chunk of change! I love financial business. Thanks for sharing! 🌺

  8. It’s the same with your debit card. Some cashier ask you debit or credit, I always go debit. The faster the cash comes out of your account the better. At least you know how much you have in your account at the ending of the day.

  9. Yes, pay it off. The most common reason I have heard is, "then I lose my tax deduction". I explained that if your annual interest is $10,000 and you are in the 25% tax bracket, you get to deduct $2,500. However, you are paying $10,000 to the mortgage company so the IRS can give you back $2,500. Wouldn't be cheaper to just pay the $2500?
Besides, I am not retiring with a mortgage.

  10. I have a 2 unit that I have my father living in one and I rent the other one and that is paid for completely. I have $82,000 in equity in that I have a residential commercial building that I live in and I owe 46,000 my plan is to pay at least half of it this year and continue making my monthly payments for the year of 2019 hopefully for 2020 I will owe less and then finished paying it. it does save time finances and stress. It is so sad that I have to be in my mid-forties to understand that because I was the one that used to borrow against it constantly. I stopped doing that my husband and i put a plan to try to pay it off in the next 2 years. Let's hope and pray that God reveals and our plan goes through and will be debt-free in 2 years

  11. I agree with paying off the mortgage early, people are laid off or fired everyday and people need to afford to retire…not to mention there can be unexpected health issues that can prevent you from working.
