  1. I got my authority 6 months ago and insured a 2013 Freightliner Cascadia dry van for 48 states. $3200 down $1150 a month. I’ve been driving 6 years with a clean record. I can’t add a truck or driver for 1 year.

  2. You need to find a good agent and get one quote. Quotes are good for ninety days. If you go to multiple agents and get quotes they all go to mainly 15 insurance companies. If you get a low rate from Northland with one agent and a higher rate with another you will be paying the higher rate regardless.

  3. Thanks socal very informal I started mine locally@ $1,500 down $750 monthly on my new authority but under the air miles with end dump trailer daycab kw 2010 im from Indiana I've been watching your videos before I got my own truck was still a company driver keep it coming my trucking brother

  4. 1 2012 Cascadia, new authority, had my license for 10 years but I was in military and my insurance didn’t count that as experience but my down payment was 5200 for all 48 with 1400 a month….EXPENSIVE 😂 by the way I do reefer and I run outta Cali

  5. 3 trucks 1997 to 2003 10 years clean records on 3 drivers $695 dry van and flat bed: down $1,800 (per truck and driver)
1 driver 2015 truck MIAMI driver $1,390 REEFER down $3,100 clean driving record. 5 plus years company.

  6. Miami , Florida by far has one of the highest Insurance rates. Start your company's LLC in different zip code. Like So Cal said, some areas are higher than the other. Thanks again for sharing SoCal.

  7. If you have more than one truck ,always put older truck first( cheaper), your first truck is attached to your Authority .. then you can play with newer trucks to take them off your policy or add them very easy but the first truck you cannot move it off your policy .
