    I have same situation, I'm willing to buy a resale property from joint owners – Husband and wife; wife lives in India but her husband is out of India and husband is willing to give GPA via Indian embassy to his wife which is a co-owner as well in this case.
    Now my query is : is this a valid approach for buying property, if yes please share indian law details which authorized such type of deal?
