  1. Sarah, after 30 years of happily being married, I see myself face from my hubby’s kind words perspective. Let your San’s kind words sink into your beautiful heart and believe him, if it’s glimpse moments at a time.

  2. oh i totally agree/understand your whole discussion on needing a date and being uncomfortable in your own skin at this stage in life! i'm SO there at the moment. i know its unfortunately very difficult on my husband who is wonderful and doesn't understand why i don't love myself as much as he loves me. praying for all us ladies that are struggling with our bodies and body image! <3 thank you for always sharing and keeping it real!

  3. I have learned after having 4 kids and being a lot heavy to make the time for myself so I go to gym at 4am before daycare kids 3 days a week and meet with a trainer $20 once a week. I have learned its not how i look but how I feel. I have lost 42 lbs in 2 yrs but I am learning it's not about the number on the scale but how I feel. I am heavier then I was prior at this size. I could tell you you look fine (you do) but we all know a thousand ppl can tell us that and we still feel the way we feel. Maybe do yoga/exercises with your daughters or with the daycare kids I buy from teacher By teacher some cute simple curriculum you can download and print/laminate or print use. As for dates my hubby and I do ice cream, dinners, use to do walks, biking & hot tubs (in younger yrs), walk a flower garden/park and picnics. Movies is always fun; we prob go more to the drive in then anything for a date night. Or home dates movie/pop corn and foot rubs 🙂 My daughter and her hubby go for pedicures 🙂 my hubby wont do that

  4. When my daughter's dresses became too short I would buy her the little Capri leggings or the little bike shorts to wear under her dresses. I just thought I'd share that with you maybe that would be a way she could continue to wear the dresses for a little longer or at least till the end of the summer. God bless

  5. One of my DC kids asked me who I was watching…I told her, "One of my friends." Then I kinda smirked-.
What we view on your videos is just a small part- and we don't know you in the same sense, but I can say that I very much am encouraged by your ministry. Yes, ministry. Sharing so much of yourself reaches out to so many.
Sarah, I am along side your in prayer for the struggles of body issues (I'm currently in the same boat), adult frustrations, and doing the toughest job on earth- parenting. San, thank you for the influence and support you show for your family. May the Lord continue to bless you!

  6. On the weight issue, I'm right there with you. When I was dating my husband I had time to work out twice a day, cook just for myself (so it was all healthy, organic meals), sleeping like 9 to 10 hours a night, and I was a size 6. Shortly after we started dating I started teaching middle school…two years and thirty pounds later we got married…I struggled to fix meals he liked but were good for me. Then I got pregnant, had a baby, and gained even more weight…like 30 pounds. So here I am 60 pounds heavier than when he fell in love with me and not in love with myself. I get what you mean that no matter what they say and how supportive they are we can't change how we see ourselves. My little guy is 14 months old so we are finally figuring out how to get me out and active, we started a modified Keto meal plan last month (20 carbs just isn't realistic for us, but 40 is doable), and I lost 8 pounds. It was so encouraging, but there is so much further to go!

I don't have any tips, but my husband constantly reminds me he finds me beautiful no matter what, and that the Bible tells him to dwell with me in understanding, thus he understands there has been a lot of change in my life and body in the last 5 years and 2 new people in my life who depend on me every day, so something had to give. I'm thankful for his understanding, but it's time to put the petal to the metal!

Good luck, thanks for the videos, and your not alone!
