University of Massachusetts Boston McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies, WBUR radio, and The Boston Globe, will host live debate with the candidates running for attorney general this year, incumbent Democrat Maura Healey and Republican challenger James “Jay” McMahon.

Radio Boston host Deborah Becker will be joined by James Pindell, political reporter for The Boston Globe.

Because the conversation is taking place as part of WBUR’s Radio Boston program from 3–4 p.m. in front of a live audience at UMass Boston, doors will open at 2:15 p.m. and close at 2:45p.m. The conversations will also be live-streamed on bostonglobe.com, wbur.org, and umb.edu.

  1. "make sure someone who is a danger to themselves doesn't have access to a weapon that could kill them" but you only mean guns. What about the car they own, the kitchen knives, rope, the glass in their windows, the pills in the bathroom, the cleaning products…. Any of the thousand things everyone has access to can be used to kill someone or yourself.
