READ  For 30 years, Mr. Hinton was stripped of all his rights while he sat on Alabama death row for a crime he didn't commit. Today, he arrived at the polls at 7am and exercised his right to vote.

  1. I met Jonah 5 days ago. I got roped into watching my 3 month old niece while my brother got his hair cut. So there I am, sitting in the waiting area of a barbershop with my niece, and who walks in but Jonah Hill himself. I was nervous as shit, and just kept looking at him as he was sitting there with his phone and waited, but was too scared to say anything to him. Pretty soon my niece started crying, and I’m trying to quiet her down because I didn’t want her to bother Jonah, but she wouldn’t stop. Pretty soon he gets up and walks over. He started running his hands through her hair and asked what was wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry or something. So Jonah put down his phone, picked up my niece and lifted his shirt. He breast fed her right there in the middle of the barbershop. Chill guy, really nice about it.

  2. He’s seen it. Just now. Corner of BLEEP and 5th Ave.

I was like “dude I feel like it’s my obligation to show you. I apologize for approaching you. I know you don’t like being approached. Reddit is kinda trying to find a way for you to see it. It’s a good photo.”

He’s like “why the fuck does this make the front page of reddit? Are they being nice to me or am I fucked? Who took it?” He’s laughing as he says this.

I told him “the guy who drew the poster hanging in your office.” (I have to correct this. That was in relation to a separate photo taken by someone else in regards to Wolf of Wall Street) OP is not that guy and OP is the taker of the photo above. My bad)

He’s like “oh shit! This is awesome! I love that damn poster!”

He says to thank all of you for being awesome.

Edited to add more of what happened. It’s freezing out here and I was typing quick to catch a train.

  3. If you’re a celebrity it’s gotta be a craps shoot walking out the door everyday. Like you’ve always got to look your best because someone might want a pic with you. If you’re up for it you get a positive reputation on social media. But if you’re just not into it that day and say no then someone is probably going to carry that with them and chime into every post about you to say you’re a jerk.

Like even look at this post. It is not enough now that he graced this stranger with a picture. Now Reddit wants him to acknowledge the picture and to have his mom acknowledge the picture. Reddit is using it to shoehorn itself into his life again. I have no doubt he’ll respond to the request somehow and Reddit will get its wish. But we’ll never know if that was because he was genuinely flattered by the attention or preventing backlash.
