GAME: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice
AUTHOR: Capcom

FAN ART OF THE DAY: Astrovique –

The story of Spirit of Justice is set roughly one year after its predecessor, Dual Destinies, and once again focuses on defense attorney Phoenix Wright and his two understudies Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes. While previous games in the series have been set in Los Angeles, California, Spirit of Justice sees Phoenix travel to the fictional kingdom of Khura’in, a deeply religious nation in the far east where the art of spirit channeling originates. Roughly half the game’s episodes detail Phoenix’s activities in Khura’in, while the other half follow Apollo and Athena, who are left to watch over the Wright Anything Agency in Phoenix’s absence.

NicoB : CIVIL WAR – Let’s Play – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice – 25 – Playthrough

  1. Well, to be fair, it's not like it's the firsttime Apollo goes against a boss and mentor in court. In fact.. not he first time he goes against Phoenix given his little stint in DD. Apolo is the ultimate contrarian.

  2. considering that phoenix was in kurain for a while, i'd think that he'd recognise Durke. And if he really cared about winning, he would've just said "Isn't that the guy who is the enemy of the country i was just in?" and it all would have been over. The police department didn't want to say this was murder so pheonix needed a new way into the court system to find the real killer. Namely, a civil rights case. or, i guess you could say… a Civil Wrights case ahahaha!!!!!

  3. My favourite thing about Phoenix is how whenever you're playing as a different character he acts like this mastermind who is so well prepared for everything that he's practically pulling the strings and has control of everything, but whenever you actually play as him it's just "I have no idea what's going on but I'm gonna pull this piece of evidence out of my ass and hope it works out"

  4. I think PAW's benefactor is Inga, if the minister gets the orb he can stop the rebels!

Also i actually like Nico's Occassionally Douche Phoenix, cause I agree that he hasnt been getting any character development since the retcon.. and in AJ4 he was indeed a little bit of a douche. Not blaming him for it though, Krissy and Gramaryes got him good.

  5. Whoever translated this game is driving me crazy. 1st: The saying is "champing at the bit", not chomping. Champing is a horse riding term for when a bit comes loose and is getting caught in the horse's teeth. 2nd: The phrase is, "You've got another THINK coming!" Not thing. You have another think coming means you need a new thought to occur because your current thinking is bad.
